Jazz bands from Elkanah House, Parklands College, Milnerton and The Settlers high schools will be performing at the Bon Amis Music Picnic on Sunday April 14 at Bloemendal Wine Estate, from noon to 2pm. The brainchild of event coordinator and music educator Dean Flanagan saw the need to unite the various schools in the area and showcase their musical talent. Picnic lunches will be on sale with a cash bar available. No other food or drinks are allowed into the venue. The event will also feature a children’s corner, with a jumping castle, face painting, jungle gym, swings and slides.
Take your picnic blanket, umbrella and camp chair. Gates open at 11:30am. Tickets are available at the door or through Quicket at R55 for adults and R40 for pupils or pensioners. Children under 6 enter free.
