A world of frozen fun is back at Canal Walk shopping centre this festive season with Ice Slide World open until Sunday January 13 at the centre court.

Conscious of the fact that Cape Town is still a water scarce area, Canal Walk will use harvested and filtered rainwater to supply the ice for the slide.

During 2018, Canal Walk implemented several environmental solutions to safeguard water supply and usage. Consequently, Ice Slide World will also house several zones for children to learn how the planet can be preserved. There will be a fantasy play area for the little ones with a toddler ice slide, along with pirate and mermaid kinetic sand zones where childen can let their imagination roam free.

The slide is open from 10am to 9pm. Sessions last 45 minutes and start every hour on the hour. Tickets cost from R35 to R100 and are available through Computicket or at the venue.
