The Fleur du Cap Theatre Award-winning production The Unlikely Secret Agent will be performed for a limited season from Thursday October 20 to Saturday October 29 in the Baxter Golden Arrow Studio.
Based on Ronnie Kasrils’ novel, The Unlikely Secret Agent explores the brave journey of Eleanor, Kasrils’ wife and a clandestine agent for the Underground ANC, as she navigates her escape from Apartheid South Africa.
The play was nominated for eight Fleur du Cap Theatre Awards, with Paul du Toit winning Best Director.
Erika Marais was nominated for Best Actress for her portrayal of Eleanor Kasrils.
There will be a Q and A session with Ronnie Kasrils after the 3pm matinee on Sunday October 23.
Evening shows are at 8pm and the matinee performances on Saturdays October 22 and 29, at 2pm.
There is an age restriction of 14 for strong language, racial prejudice and gender-based violence.
Tickets cost R190 or R160 for senior citizens, students or block bookings of 10 or more.
