The Ratanga Park Sunset Concerts at Century City will be held once a month with the first concert on Sunday February 25 featuring the Afrikaans alternative band, Die Heuwels Fantasties, and rapper Jitsvinger as the opening act.
The Rabie Property Group started creating the park in 2020, after Ratanga Junction closed its doors in 2018.
The sunset concerts are picnic-style events, suitable for the whole family and held in collaboration with the Cape Town Music Academy (CTMA) and CC Arts Foundation.
Gates open at 4pm and the concert starts at 5pm. Guests can take their own picnics, but no alcoholic beverages and glass bottles will be allowed. There will be wine, beer and food for sale.
Tickets cost from R200 through Quicket.
