The body of the 44-year-old Belhar man who went missing in the surf at Milnerton Beach was found last Friday.
National Sea Rescue Institute spokesman Craig Lambinon confirmed that the Belhar man’s body had been found on Friday morning and taken into the care of the state’s forensic pathology services. The man had been caught in rip currents on Sunday November 24 (“Belhar man missing at Milnerton Beach,” Tabletalk, November 27).
Mr Lambinon said various emergency services had joined the ongoing search operation during the week.
“Condolences are conveyed to family and friends of the deceased man,” he said.
