The charity TLC Outreach Projects received 380 blankets to help the needy for winter. The blanket drive was done by a local radio station and there were several drop-off points manned by TLC volunteers.
The Tabletalk (formerly The Tabletalk and Mail) was established in 1987. This long established popular community title includes the key shopping centres Canal Walk and Bayside Centre within its distribution area.
