* The author of DogTective William, Dr Elizabeth Wasserman, visited Woodbridge Primary School, where she spoke to Grade 4s and 5s about feeding one’s brain with books. “I have noticed that clever adults are readers,” she told her young fans. Her books, about a speaking detective dog who fights crime around the world, are popular with the children. From left are children’s librarian at Milnerton library, Elmarie Waltman;
