Bothasig dog thief found guilty

A Bothasig resident has been reunited with his dog, after it was stolen along with other items.

Bothasig police spokesman Warrant Officer Jacques Mostert said the man’s house had been burgled at the end of June last year, and, along with toolboxes, a bicycle, two stepladders and two mag wheels, his dog, Jax, was also stolen.

“As a result of very good investigation work by SAPS Bothasig detective Constable Zandisine Ruka, he recovered the puppy as well as the other things stolen.

According to Constable Ruka, all the stolen property, except a generator which had already been sold, were recovered,” said Warrant Officer Mostert.
