A 28-year-old Brooklyn man faces 15 years behind bars for four counts of robbery.
Table View police spokeswoman Captain Adriana said Chandler Corbyn Clarkson was sentenced on Friday March 31 to 15 years for each of the four counts. The sentences will run concurrently. The crimes were committed from June 28 to July 2 last year.
“He would threaten the victims with a knife and rob them of their personal belongings. All the crimes were committed in the Milnerton area,” said Captain Chandler.
Milnerton cluster commander Major General Aneeqah Jordaan added: “Although the suspect had no prior convictions, he received the maximum sentence. This is an indication that if you do the crime, you will do the time.”
