Police caught a suspected car thief in Table View last week.
Table View police spokeswoman Captain Adriana Chandler said officers acting on a tip off arrested the 35-year-old suspect near Blaauwberg Road. They confirmed that the car had been stolen in Stellenbosch in July.
* Bothasig police spokesman Warrant Officer Jacques Mostert said officers arrested a 24-year-old man for drug possession and seized dagga with an estimated street value of R12 000 in Richwood, last Thursday.
