Police arrested a suspected drug dealer in Parklands last week.
According to Table View police spokeswoman, Captain Adriana Chandler, SAPS and Metro police officers found cocaine with a street value of R185 040, crystal meth valued at R168 000, drug paraphernalia valued at R4 000, an airgun and a lot of cash when they searched the flat of a known criminal on Thursday May 16.
Meanwhile, a 31-year-old man was arrested for attempting to break into a house in Table View last week.
Captain Chandler said that on Wednesday May 15, a homeowner contacted his security company when he saw a man on his property looking through the window and trying to open the door to his home.
The man ran away but the security company caught a suspect in Hawks Crescent.
After being handed over to the police, it emerged that he was a well-known- burglar, recently released from prison.
In another incident, two men were arrested with a stolen car last week.
According to Captain Chandler, the car was reported stolen in Table View in February.
On Monday May 13, the car was seen by police officers in Otto du Plessis Drive after it was linked to a housebreaking incident in Milnerton.
The suspects are linked to other cases, say police.
Police also arrested two men for robbery in Milnerton after they allegedly took a backpack, cellphone and a wallet from a mother and son.
Milnerton police spokeswoman, Captain Nopaya Madyibi, said the muggers threatened the two men with a pair of scissors on Saturday May 11.
