Police seized about 1kg of tik with an estimated street value of between R200 000 and R300 000 from a suspected drug dealer at a Table View complex on Monday October 10, Complex Patrols reported.
Police arrested the man along with a cleaner at the complex who was allegedly also caught selling the drugs.
Captain Cyril Dicks of Atlantis police confirmed that a lot of tik had been confiscated at a complex in Table View, but was unable to give further details at the time this edition went to print.
Bothasig police arrested a 21-year-old man carrying tik, mandrax, dagga and drug paraphernalia in Rooseboom Park, on Friday October 7, thanks to a tip-off from the public.
“It was found that he was out on bail for another Bothasig drug case,” said Bothasig police spokesman, Warrant Officer Jaques Mostert.
