Three armed men invaded a Parklands home on Friday last week at about 7pm.
They forced the homeowner and his friends to lie on the ground while they ransacked the Northridge Crescent house, said Table View police spokeswoman Captain Adriana Chandler .
The robbers locked the man and his friends in a bedroom while they grabbed electronics, including an Apple MacBook, an HP laptop and an iPhone7, and other household valuables.
Two men robbed a woman of her cellphone in Sandown Road in Parklands while she was running with her dogs on Thursday November 16, after 7pm.
A laptop, sunglasses, clothing and other valuables were reported stolen from a car parked on Marine Drive on Thursday November 16. The car alarm was not activated and there was no sign of forced entry, said Captain Chandler.
Another car was broken into in the same road on Thursday afternoon November 9.
Captain Chandler said a couple had found their car’s back door unlocked, and they claimed sunglasses worth R9 000, clothes worth R4 000 and other valuables had been stolen.
