Three parcels of cocaine found on a man in Century City.

Table View police have arrested a man for the murder of a well-known homeless man.

The 34-year-old homeless man’s body was found on a gravel road leading to Takkegat Bush, in Parklands, on Sunday, at about 9.30am.

He had injuries to his head, said Table View police spokeswoman, Captain Adriana Chandler.

Police arrested a 31-year-old homeless man on the same day.

A 46-year-old man was arrested last Wednesday for possession of cocaine with a street value of more than R360 000.

A Metro police spokeswoman said officers acting on a tip-off about drug activity at Villa Italia, in Century City, had found their suspect standing next to a red Renault on the premises.

They had searched the car and found three parcels of cocaine, along with R2 850 in cash, a kitchen scale and three cellphones.

The man was arrested and detained at Milnerton SAPS.

Police arrested three burglary suspects who allegedly climbed through a dog flap at a Queens Close address in Parklands on Wednesday May 9.

Milnerton police arrested six men on various charges, including possession of stolen property and drugs, in Dunoon, on Thursday May 10. Provincial police spokesman, Captain FC Van Wyk, said officers arrested two men, aged 25 and 21, on stolen property- and drug-related charges, at a house in Dunoon.

Two more men, aged 24 and 28, were arrested for possession of stolen property and a third man, 27, was held for carrying an imitation firearm.

Officers had caught another man hiding a bag of dagga, three half mandrax tablets and three cellphones behind a bed, said Captain Van Wyk.
