To mark National Book Week, which is in the first week of September, Little Libraries visited Shelanti School on Wednesday September 20. The initiative provides underprivileged pre-schools with a reading corner. They brought with them used books for pupils, teachers and parents to buy for as little as R20. Pupils brought some of their own used books from home to donate to Little Libraries. They also had the option to buy a book which Little Libraries would then add to the reading corners in schools.
