A group of Grade 11 pupils from Elkanah House held a morning play session for 10 girls from Wola Nani as their life-orientation project on Saturday September 2.

Wola Nani is an organisation offering support to adults and children with HIV and Aids. The girls were taken to be.UP Park, an indoor play park in Pinelands. The Elkanah pupils organised this event with the non-profit organisation Reach For A Dream, which works with Wola Nani. The girls were given T-shirts made especially for them and treated to lunch after their play session.

On the same day, the Elkanah pupils also went to Uitsig Animal Rescue Centre in Melkbosstrand, where they donated dog food and money and spent an hour playing with the abandoned cats.
