Police arrested a 32-year-old man, in Parklands, early on Monday, on a charge of attempted rape.
Table View police officers were called to a complex, where one man and four women were inside a bedroom.
According to Table View police spokeswoman Captain Adriana Chandler, a 20-year-old woman claimed the man had tried to rape her but she had fought him off.
“The other three women confirmed the incident and the man, a foreign national, was arrested and taken to Table View police station,” said Captain Chandler.
The Milnerton Cluster’s Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit is investigating the case.
