Table View police arrested a 46-year-old man in Parklands last week on drugs charges.
Police were tipped off that the man was transporting tik in the neighbourhood last Thursday, said Table View police spokeswoman Captain Adriana Chandler.
Police say they pulled the man’s car over on Parklands Main Road and found R15 000 worth of tik in the vehicle.
• Another tip-off led to the arrest of four people at the weekend for being in possession of a blue Toyota Yaris that was reported hijacked in Bothasig on Friday January 28.
Officers spotted the car in Blouberg on Sunday morning and arrested the four occupants, three men and a woman, aged 28 to 45, said Captain Chandler.
