Mandela Day celebrations

Covenant Kids Life Skills centre in Milnerton celebrated Mandela Day by handing out a hot cup of soup and slice of bread to anyone who passed by the school along Begonia Street.Some of the children from the preschool are seen with Grade R teacher Jade Green.

Organisations, businesses and residents from some of Tabletalk’s distribution areas celebrated Mandela Day, on Monday July 18, by giving back to their community.

In Rugby, Ravi and Nalini Moodley, the owners of Caltex Priclo Motors, held a blanket drive in honour of Mandela Day and they gave blankets to their staff.
Another 55 blankets were handed to the Eric Miles Cheshire Home for the physically disabled.
