Nahum Street is once again on the map this festive season for having one of the most decorated houses in Rugby.
With an array of Christmas lights and decorations, Martin Beyers has continued his Christmas tradition of giving passers-by and motorists a spectacle of lights to feast their eyes on.
Mr Beyers switched on his lights on Sunday evening and encourages people to take a detour passed his house if driving through Rugby.
He grew up watching his father Snowden “Snowy” Beyers adorning his home with decorations at Christmas time and decided to continue the tradition after he passed away a few years ago.
It takes roughly three months to prepare the lights and some of them are custom-made while others are rewired for special effect, he said. He removes the decorations at night for safe-keeping and puts them back each day with the help of his daughter, Bella.
