Meloney dancing lyrical

■ After winning first place in the under-10 division at the Cape Town World Lyrical Dance Federation competition in May, Blouberg Ridge Primary School pupil Meloney Branford, 8, was chosen as the youngest member of the World Lyrical Federation South African team that competed in the world championships in Stratford-upon-Avon, in England, last month. She danced in the solo division and took ninth place.
