I have logged many C3s and I have written to our councillor and the traffic department regarding the racing taking place on Otto Du Plessis Drive and Marine Drive, especially at the Loxton Road and Woodbridge Island traffic lights in Milnerton.
There are never ever any traffic cops, and it is so bad now we cannot sleep and are prepared to sell our house at a huge loss just to get away.
I am not the only one who has continually brought this to the attention of the City and been ignored. Maybe it should be investigated why the ratepayer is always ignored and the problem is allowed to continue.
* Tabletalk asked the City for a response to this letter two weeks ago and we followed up with an email last week, but no response was forthcoming by the time this edition went to print.
