The National Sea Rescue Institute’s (NSRI) Station 3 in Dock Road, at the V&A Waterfront will hold an open day on Saturday September 23, from 11am to 4pm, in celebration of Sea Rescue’s 50th anniversary.
The NSRI is made up entirely of volunteers with Station 3 covering the Atlantic Seaboard, the West Coast and beyond with its volunteer crew and fleet.
You will be able to meet the crew at the open day, learn bystander CPR and you can book a short ride on the rescue boat around the harbour, weather-permitting. Entry is free.
