 Rabie Property Group broke ground on a R1-billion retirement development in Burgundy Estate on Wednesday June 3. Oasis Life Burgundy Estate was launched in November 2019 with two show houses. The10-hectare security estate’s paved internal streets will provide access to a combination of houses and low-rise blocks of flats in a landscape of pocket parks and tree-lined pedestrian boulevards, surrounding a R40-million lifestyle centre, equipped with a gym with a heated swimming pool, a restaurant, a library/media room, primary health-care suites and a multi-function room. The first phase of construction includes 24 houses and 33 flats, set for completion mid-2021. Oasis Life Burgundy Estate will eventually consist of 159 houses and 387 flats.
