A man was killed and another critically injured in a shooting on the corner of Potsdam Road and Usasaza Street in Dunoon on Thursday, June 2.
Police had cordoned off the scene by the time paramedics had arrived at about 4pm, said ER 24 spokesman Ross Campbell.
One of the men, believed to be in his 20s, had been lying lifeless in the street with multiple gunshot wounds, said Mr Campbell.
“Unfortunately, nothing could be done for him, and he was declared dead on arrival.“
The other man, aged 31, had two gunshot wounds to the shoulder area and was in a critical condition. Medics stabilised him before he was taken to hospital.
Milnerton police did not respond by time of publication.
