Table View police spokesman Captain Adriana Chandler said the men – one in a grey tracksuit top and beanie, the other in a blue jersey – had jumped on the woman’s bed, shone a torch in her face and ordered her to keep quiet.

”The suspects took jewellery, household and personal items and left the scene,” said Captain Chandler.
The woman called the police after freeing herself. She was uninjured. The men had forced open a lounge window to get inside.
