Police swoop on drug manufacturers

Tik, mandrax and dagga confiscated at a home in Dunoon.

Police have arrested two women and a man in Sunset Beach for manufacturing drugs.

A tip-off led officers to a drug lab in Diluta Road, where the suspects were arrested on Sunday November 26, said Milnerton police spokeswoman Captain Nopaya Madyibi.

Chemicals and equipment were confiscated.

The value of the drugs seized is unknown at this stage.

The two women are 22 and 38, and the man is 52.

Police arrested a 41-year-old man in Dunoon, early on Friday November 24, for dealing drugs.

Table View police spokeswoman Captain Adriana Chandler said a tip-off led officers to the man’s home, where they found mandrax tablets, tik, dagga and large amounts of cash.

In a separate incident, police arrested two men, aged 25 and 34, at Century City Business Park on Friday November 24, at 6pm, for stealing four laptops.

Captain Madyibi told the Tabletalk that the four Lenovo laptops were worth more than R80 000.
