The boxes were closed down, as I was told by the Bayside management, due to the eviction of the post office due to non-payment of rental, and the mail is to be collected at the Boy de Goede post office.
I have been there daily but have not received any mail. I normally receive a minimum of six to10 items a day.
Well it looks like – along with everything else in the government-run orbit – this too is a mess.

The collection of mail is an interim arrangement. The landlord is busy with the plans to erect the postbox lobby; we are totally dependent on them and we unfortunately do not have a date for the completion.
I cannot comment on her mail at the Table View Post Office, on receipt it will be delivered to her.
