General Schools Sunningdale's under 11, 12 and 13 netball girls played against Curro Sandown under-14 netball girls. It was a close game that ended in a 3-all draw. CBC St Johns pupil, Adam Wilcock, recently competed at the International Mathematics Competition held in Durban. Adams Junior team were second runners up out of 27 international teams in the competition, and the top South African Junior team in the competition. Pictured is Adam with his medal from the competition. Last week CBC St Johns Grade 6s enjoyed an outing to The Heart of Cape Town Museum. The pupils learnt about Dr Christiaan Barnard and others who pioneered the surgical feat of transplanting a human heart. Some of the pupils in a replica of the Charles Saint Theatre, where the first human heart transplant took place at Groote Schuur Hospital on the 3rd December 1967.
