The 12-part production told tales from Cape Town to Cairo. The Grade 6 class play minstrels welcoming the audience to Cape Town. Leonel Fokwana played the role of Aio, the Rainmaker, based on a folk tale recorded by Fiona French. CBC St Johns junior school hosted a culture week where pupils showcased their art, drama and music over three evenings. Here Sarah Daniels plays the saxophone at the intermediate phase music evening. Milnerton High Schools second golf team participated in their Western Province League Championships and came third. Rising Stars Primary Schools Grade 1 pupils visited the Cape Town Science Centre in Observatory where they learned about bubble making and other activities.
