■ CBC St John’s had a Spring Hat Day Parade at the preschool on Friday August 31. The Little Saints had to use recycled materials to make a hat that celebrated the start of spring. Pictured are teacher Claire van Staden, Chiara Romanczuk, left, and Neo Pasane showing off their recycled creations.
