Table View police have asked the public to help them search for Nowangi Jara, 73, who went missing from the Site 5 informal settlement in Dunoon on Saturday July 13.
According to Table View police spokesperson Captain Adriana Chandler, Ms Jara was wearing a blue and yellow dress, similar to the one in the picture, at the time of her disappearance.
Captain Chandler said the search started on the day she was reported missing and continued on Tuesday, July 30.
Anyone with information on Ms Jara’s whereabouts is asked to contact Table View police station at 021 521 3308 or Detective Sergeant Makubalo at 021 521 3301.
In an unrelated incident, Table View police are looking for the next of kin of Amon Chigararino, a Zimbabwean national, whose body was found on Sunday July 14 in front of a car dealership in Blaauwberg Road, Table View.
Captain Chandler said Mr Chigararino, 32, was wearing black track pants, a red beanie, a grey hoodie and a pair of white takkies.
“He had no visible injuries and no foul play is suspected,” she said, adding that he had not been reported missing.
