■ Parklands College pupils Gerran Pay, left, and Emile Tredoux came out tops at the 2018 National Online Computer Olympiad Talent Search. Gerran tied fourth in the country out of 7 725 Intermediate category participants and Emile placed first in the country out of 1903 Elite category participants.The South African Computer Olympiad Talent Search Olympiad is a version of the International Bebras Contest which attracts more than a million participants throughout the world each year.
