A wallet was found recently by our local “Postie” who handed it in to the post office, who then contacted me.
We opened it together to see if there were any contact details.
I used Facebook to contact the gentleman, who was found in less than an hour.
And very pleased he was
to retrieve his identity document.
I felt that this joint effort by the post office staff deserved some recognition for their community spirit and arranged a certificate
of appreciation and goodie bags full of tasty treats for them.
