Teen killed by ’drunk’ driver in Table View

A teenager was killed by an allegedly drunk driver at the weekend, say police.

The 16-year-old boy was knocked off his skateboard, in Beach Boulevard, Table View, on Sunday evening, said Table View police spokeswoman Captain Adriana Chandler,

He was declared dead at a nearby hospital a short while later.

A 40-year-old man was arrested and is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and culpable homicide.
