A man was killed after two cars hit him on the N7, in Dunoon, on Thursday morning August 11.
“ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on the scene and found the lifeless body of a man lying in the middle of one of the lanes,” said ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring.
“Local authorities closed off one of the lanes while paramedics assessed the patient. It was found that the man had sustained numerous, fatal injuries. Unfortunately, nothing could be done for the patient and he was declared dead on the scene,” said Mr Meiring.
It is believed the man had been trying to cross the busy highway when he was knocked down. Both drivers escaped injury.
