Wear red to mark 16 Days campaign

A social-welfare group in Melkbosstrand is calling on the public to wear something red to show support for the 16 Days
of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children Campaign.

The Afrikaanse Christelike Vroue Vereniging’s (ACVV) Red My Lips #acvv drive is asking people to wear red lipstick, red ties or red T-shirts during 16 Days from Saturday November 25 to Monday December 10.

“Have your photo taken wearing red lips! The men can dress up with a red tie, paint their moustaches red, colour your hair red or wear anything that is red to show support and solidarity to the cause then post it to our Facebook page, ACVV Koeberg,” said Ms Le Roux.
