Farmers Market
The Melkbos Farmer’s Market is this weekend on Saturday July 6 from 9am to 4pm and on Sunday July 7 from 9am to 3pm. There will be jumping castles for kids and a colouring competition and the winner gets R150. For more information, contact Annaleen van Coller on 084 337 0117.
Open Day
The Cape Town Mineral Club is holding its monthly open day on Saturday July 6 in Goede Hoop Street, Bothasig, from 10am to 2pm. Crystals, minerals, jewellery and other items will be on display and for sale. There is ample parking and no entry fee. Call Henri on 083 602 0302 for more information.
Benefit concert
The CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation will have a benefit concert at the Artscape Opera House on Tuesday September 3. The show starts at 8pm and stars Craig Lucas, Paxton Fielies and Gary Naidoo. Tickets cost R140 and can be booked through Computicket.
