Melodie Potgieter, Milnerton
The Nutty Knitters meet at the Lions Club House in Milnerton every second Saturday to knit or crochet for the underprivileged.
We concentrate mainly on children and the elderly. We make little jerseys, beanies, booties, jerseys, ponchos, knee rugs, bed socks, and scarves.
We have about 70 knitters but need a lot of wool. We appeal to the public to donate to us any unwanted wool. We will happily collect.
