Parklands College qualified to compete in the international World Robot Olympiad (WRO) for the third year running. This year the Olympiad is in Costa Rica. In September, the top teams in South Africa competed in Pretoria where Grade 6 pupil Luca Wolvaart, left, and Ioannis Papadakos, middle, also in Grade 6, took bronze in the elementary category. They are with their robotics coach, Nikki Niemand.
The Tabletalk (formerly The Tabletalk and Mail) was established in 1987. This long established popular community title includes the key shopping centres Canal Walk and Bayside Centre within its distribution area.
