Bianca Wichtmann, Home of Hope, fund-raiser
It is with absolute gratitude and joy that we can confirm that we have raised the funds needed to purchase Anselm Farm and that our special-needs young adults now have a safe place where they belong, can learn and develop and a place to call their home (“Charity hopes to buy a forever home,” Tabletalk, November 10, 2021).
It is through the support of Tabletalk, the larger community and our existing sponsors that we have secured the amount required and can now proceed to establish a fully functioning, working care farm producing free- range eggs, plants, vegetables and organic compost.
Thank you to each one of you who has donated and spread the information about this fund-raiser and this exciting and much-needed project. We would not be here without your help.
Thank you for investing in the future of those who would otherwise land up on the streets and perpetuate the circumstances they have come from.
Home of Hope believes in a brighter future for every child, and we know that the journey with some will never end. As an organisation, we will grow and develop together with our children and young adults as we fight for them to be the best they can possibly be.
Thank you for taking hands with us on this exciting journey.
