Sunningdale Bowling Club held a “Battle of the Sexes” earlier this month where the club men’s single champion, Eric Glanvill, lost by one point to the women’s singles champion, Joanne Fagan. Members got into the spirit of the day by dressing up as the opposite sex and the afternoon bowls game became a contest between the women and the men.
