Storie Van My Lewe

■ The one-woman show, Storie Van My Lewe, starring Janine van Rooy-Overmeyer, pictured, also known as Blaqpearl, will be staged at Las Vegas Lounge, at the Westridge shopping centre, off Simonsig Avenue, in Westridge, Mitchell’s Plain, on Saturday November 18, at 4pm, and will make its return to Jolly Carp, 38 Sasmeer Street, Retreat, on Saturday November 25, at 7pm. Storie van My Lewe portrays the journey of four women in Cape Town through storytelling, poetry and music, while sharing their experiences, struggles and triumphs.
