Sirene Paulse, from Somerset West, held a launch, at Air Force Base Ysterplaat in Milnerton on Saturday May 21, for her book, 72 Hours, which tells of the struggle she faced after falling severely ill and losing the use of her legs within the space of 72 hours. She was diagnosed with neuromyelitis optica, a rare auto-immune disease that affects the central nervous system.
