In support of the 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children Campaign, SA Women Fight Back, gave Bothasig SAPS an antigender-based-violence banner, which has been put up on the station’s fence for the duration of the campaign. SAPS Bothasig kicked off its 16 Days of Activism for No Violence against Women and Children Campaign with a parade on Wednesday November 25.
SAPS members as well as the chairman of the local community police forum, Dave Morley, paid respect to victims of gender-based violence and Covid-19.
The parade started when Constable Emile Saaiman raised the national flag to half-mast.
