Man shot and robbed of his cellphone

A man was shot in Dunoon on Wednesday after he refused to hand over his cellphone to a mugger.

Table View police spokeswoman Captain Adriana Chandler said the man and his friend had been held up outside a cafe on Wednesday November 15.

The mugger had a gun and demanded their cash and cellphones.

He took the friend’s phone but when the other man resisted, he shot him in the leg, grabbed the second phone and ran off.

He is still at large.

Acting on a tip-off, police raided a suspected tik lab in Milnerton on Sunday November 19 and arrested a man and a woman for manufacturing and dealing in about R1 million of drugs.
