A Table View woman has her eyes set on being the next Mrs South Africa.
Natasha King is one of 100 semi-finalists hoping to make the top 25 to be announced on Friday June 28. The grand finale will be at Emperors Palace in Johannesburg on Friday November 8.
Ms King, 34, grew up in Table View and attended Blouberg Ridge Primary and St Cyprian’s School, a girls school in Oranjezicht. Just over five years ago, she met her husband, Daniel King.
She said she entered this competition to be a role model and to show other women that they can be more than just a wife, a mother and a caregiver to others.
”We tend to focus a lot on the people around us and neglect ourselves and that shouldn’t be the case.”
Ms King said she admired the late Princess Diana and wanted to do all she could to make the world a better place.
