Sagewood security estate is the latest housing development to be built in Sandown situated between the N7 and the R27.
Tony Clarke, joint managing director of the Aska Property Group, the developer, said the estate, comprising 255 single residential plots, would have controlled access to Parklands College’s high school campus (“the Sandown Campus”) across the
road.
In March, Aska made single residential plots available to parents of the Sandown Campus and to local developers.
The plots – which range from 229m2 to 767m2 in size.
The 100th plot was sold in May.
The estate lies immediately north of the 15.5 hectare Sandown Campus, which is eventually expected to accommodate
1 300 pupils.
“Further land has been set aside for future community sports fields to the north and the fynbos corridor is positioned to the east of Sagewood,” said Mr Clarke.
