On Valentine’s Day, I was taken to the trauma unit at Blaauwberg Netcare Hospital with a dislocated and fractured shoulder.
A huge thank you to Dr Carstens and his team (Michelle, Erica, Reuben and Karen, as well as, Loyce in the X-ray department) for attending to me so promptly and professionally, despite the trauma unit being very busy.
I received excellent, first class care and attention from them all.
Thank you also to the lady in the SUV with the toddler, who assisted me, after my fall, at the bottom of the steps, at the entrance to Perlemoen Road in Blouberg.
