Volunteer recognised

Cecilia Sani, director of library service, at the provincial Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport, congratulates Oney le Roux, 82, of West Beach, who received an award from the department for her volunteer work at the Bloubergstrand library, where she mends between 10 to 14 books a week. Head librarian Judy Strydom nominated her for the award.
